Learning HTML, CSS & PHP

I need to begin learning this as soon as possible. Although I'm still pretty young, I want to get a good head start at this so that once I reach a point where I know how to "do" HTML, CSS and PHP I won't be asking people for too much help. I need to be, in a nutshell more self-reliant. Anyways, where can I learn this the best way? I don't care about how long it take, I have time. I'm willing to buy books as well. Do you guys think For Dummies books will help? If so, can you link me to them?

Here's a site someone showed me: http://html.net/tutorials/

Although I can learn all that stuff on there, I don't want to be staring at my computer screen for hours.

What would you recommend me?

By the way, HI! Haven't been on here in a while, my site needed some attention.

Music Quality

How do you guys get your music? From some 99 cents MP3 from itunes or do you go out and buy the album and rip it? Or do you download them *gasp*, and if you do download them do you look at the kbps or do you just download the lowest size or fastest one?
I was wondering as I normally aren't big on music, but I love anything quality and a good flac/lossless file will kill an mp3 (maybe not a 320kbps MP3 as it varies player to player).

How do MacBook Pro release cycles work?

I'm buying myself a MacBook pro and I have questions about their release cycles.

When will the new ones come out? Is it better to wait right now and buy when the new models arrive or should I just buy now?

What are the differences with each release cycle? Are the upgrades worth it? (I read some articles about the CPU upgrades but they were comparing the MacBook Air with the MacBook Pro).

What happens to the pricing? How much cheaper do the old versions become? Are the new versions priced the exact same as the apst generation was?

Thanks in advance!

Megaupload was seized by the federal government

So... the owner of Megaupload.com was arrested today and the website was shut down permanently by the federal government because more than $500 million pirated softwares/videos were link on that site.
What do you think about this action?
What is the point of stopping SOPA if they can already do this? SOPA or not, the federal government will always seem to find loop hole around it.
Million of users that uses Megaupload and Megavideo say that this action was unfair.
As stated on Rapidshare, Megaupload, Mediafire, and other file hosting service, they are not responsible what type of files that are uploaded onto their service because it is impossible to know what type of files are which. Some files can have different names which are impossible to track down. Megaupload seem to have the most illegal files so the federal government decided to shut it down and arrest the owner.
Was this a justify action?

Why is the federal government so concern about torrent/illegal sharing softwares? Lets face it... (not that I'm saying I am torrenting), torrent actually helps a lot of people. It can help students get software such as Adobe Photoshop and learn for free. I'm sure in the future when they can get a job, they will pay for the legit version.
I'm also pretty sure there are lot more crimes out there beside sharing illegal files... such as inside the federal government iteself where politicians are stealing millions of dollars from people.

The government is so corrupted... even people that are running for president... if they have money, they can run. In the government... it's not run by the average people of the United State, it is run by the most corrupted greed rich people that just wants more power.

Fixing bad sectors on an SSD

My SSD broke and i got an RMA but I'm having issues with it. I think it has some bad sectors but I have no idea how to fix it.

When I put in in a computer and try to install Windows XP or Windows 7 (or just use the restore disk) it either crashes with a BSOD, freezes up, or can't detect the drive.

I can boot into Ubuntu with a live CD and format the drive, but it's some strange formatting and the windows install disks can't get it to NTFS (actually nothing can get it to NTFS).

I tried plugging it into my PC as a secondary drive to try to format it to NTFS through the partition manager, but it starts formatting and then it hangs and then the drive seems to disappear, until I unplug it, plug it back in, and restart the computer.

Does anyone know of any boot-time tools that I ca use to force a Chkdsk to find and fix bad sectors on the drive?
